Beginning your review of Alice in the Land of Hearts: The Mad Hatter's Tardily Dark Tea Political party, Vol. 02

This could take been so much better. The interesting parts were only short while the parts that felt like a recap of everything we already know were and so much longer. The pacing was just off.

This volume was a great continuation from the commencement volume and had a lot of dissimilar characters in it. The affiliate were Alice was kidnapped and saved by the Hatters was especially interesting.

I also enjoyed the special preview of "Dragonar Academy" at the cease of the book and I programme on looking into that serial as well.

This book was a great continuation from the start book and had a lot of unlike characters in information technology. The affiliate were Alice was kidnapped and saved past the Hatters was especially interesting.

In that location's nothing new or particularly interesting in this book.
I acknowledge that my rating might be especially depression because I was expecting a whole lot more out of a Blood centric story, but it doesn't even deserve an average.
The fine art gorgeous and I liked some moments, only it could accept been a skip. At that place's nada new or particularly interesting in this book.

I feel similar I'thousand getting progressively more disappointed as more of these "Alice in the Country of X" stories come out. Which sucks because they started off then expert. I'd like to say this was a sweet story, but I still can't go over the fact that Blood is a huge jerk! Yes, he saved Alice. Merely everything else about him is just atrocious; HE POINTED HIS GUN AT HER! Which in my mind is worse than Ace choking her that one fourth dimension.

Not to mention that every time I tried to sit down and read this book, something else caught my attention. It was that bad. I finally had to stop it while I was pooping and then I couldn't be distracted by anything.

Notation: The Alice in the Country of Hearts series is based on an Otome dating game. The resulting manga (by the same title) has spawned many unlike spinoffs. This is i of those stories.

This 2-volume set could have easily been a single volume and null of value would take been lost. In fact, Hatter may take been more likable if he spent less fourth dimension beingness manipulative and intentionally dancing the misunderstanding tango. Elements of the Country of Hearts universe were re-explained that didn't add together to the story and we also had the "joy" of more than of Peter being creepy while the author tries to play him every bit sympathetic. One of the weakest stories I've read in this canon so far. This two-volume set could have easily been a single volume and zippo of value would take been lost. In fact, Hatter may have been more likable if he spent less time being manipulative and intentionally dancing the misunderstanding tango. This volume picks up exactly where we were left hanging in the previous. There's a little suspense, some good times and new questions popping up every bit you read this ane. What a reveal! I'thousand then relieved, fifty-fifty though it had to be a HEA i was nervous. I actually loved these two together, and I really hope there are more Hatter/Alice books.

Alice comes back to find Blood threatening Julius. She refuses to become back to the mansion with him but does agree to visit. When she visits, she, Elliot, and the twins decide to have a picnic lunch together (Blood is too "tired" to get). Claret (view spoiler)[deals with some rival mafia, simply not earlier Alice is kidnapped equally bait. She's certain she isn't important enough to Claret for him to come up get her, simply he does. Later on that, he finally explains who Vivaldi is to him. The volume ends with Alice tryi Alice comes back to find Blood threatening Julius. She refuses to become dorsum to the mansion with him but does agree to visit. When she visits, she, Elliot, and the twins decide to have a picnic lunch together (Claret is too "tired" to go). Blood (view spoiler)[deals with some rival mafia, simply non earlier Alice is kidnapped as bait. She'southward sure she isn't important enough to Claret for him to come up go her, but he does. This was a vast improvement over volume 1, but it was still substantially a rehash of the commencement English-translated Alice in the Land of Hearts release and at least one other entry in the franchise that I can't currently recall.

This felt similar someone looked at the first volume and said "nosotros need a do-over." The beginning even recapped how Alice arrived in Wonderland. Information technology was kind of weird, really.

This had nicer artwork than the first volume, but story-wise it still crammed a lot into one volume. For example, there were little creepy $.25 that indicated that Peter and Nightmare were teaming upward to keep Alice in Wonderland, steering her to the point of taking her ability to choose away from her. Unfortunately, in that location wasn't plenty space to both include this stuff and also explain information technology, so I imagine information technology'd be terribly confusing to newbies. Really, I'd simply recommend this to Alice in the County of completists like myself.

Am I done with this franchise yet? I call up I have a little more than to go, just it'd be squeamish to know how much. I feel like I need a guide of some kind.

A short, elementary spin off series that focuses on Alice and Blood's relationship. And is honestly the I time I tin can almost buy their romance. Blood is every bit, well, bloody as ever, and certainly intimidating, but the corporeality of slut-shaming, emotional manipulation, and other horribly abusive traits he normally emits in these manga is narrowed to barely noticeable. The merely other times he'south tolerable are in the Elliott spin-offs, so this was a pleasant surprise, to say the to the lowest degree. Considering how everyo A short, uncomplicated spin off series that focuses on Alice and Blood'southward relationship. And is honestly the One time I can virtually buy their romance. Due to reading Alice In The Country of Hearts manga beforehand, the whole sibling twist wasn't a big shocker to me. Information technology just feels obvious to those across the tween years. Their human relationship is fairly unhealthy but that is to exist expected as they take the typical, popular powerful human being falling for the seemingly average girl and the fights that pursue among her potential lovers as well. I got the book for the witty remarks. I love Blood and his sarcasm but it was nothing more a typical manga i Due to reading Alice In The Country of Hearts manga beforehand, the whole sibling twist wasn't a big shocker to me. Oh gosh were to begin, I really love this story line only I'm not a fan of Blood. All that flirting is squeamish and alurring but come up on he is and then hateful to Alice. Yep it meant to come off equally teasing. I'thousand not buying information technology. Come paired to Honey Labyrinth of Thorns and Julius...ah. Now he is my kind of guy. The dark a burtting and really passionate about the people he cares near. The side by side review will come as no hock at it might beingness all near joinning the team Julius.
